Here’s my in-depth review of the three-wick Cactus Blossom candle from Bath & Body Works!

   Appearance

If you visit the B&BW website, you’ll see this three-wick candle has two different designs to choose from. (UPDATE: As of tonight, the other design no longer seems to be listed on their website.) This version of the candle comes in a bold, vibrant pink. I personally enjoy the eye-catching color!⁣

   Fragrance

According to the B&BW website, this candle has notes of “Cactus Flower Petal, Sun-Kissed Coconut, Vanilla, [and] Fresh Sparkling Lemon.” The vanilla and coconut came through when cold, the cactus flower petal when hot, and the lemon was MIA.⁣

   Throw

The cold throw was very mild and hard to distinguish at first. I eventually picked up on the vanilla and coconut, but no cactus flower. So imagine my surprise when I lit this up and the hot throw was STRONG! Definitely picked up on the cactus flower at that point. I actually moved this candle into a larger room after a while because the scent was so overpowering!⁣

   Burn

This candle has a slow burn. It took over an hour for the wax pool to reach all sides; however, the fragrance was released within 30 minutes, so you’ll get results in a short amount of time. The wax pool was even, and the wicks mushroomed after burning (so you’ll want to trim those before next use).⁣

   Impression

This candle was ENERGIZING – which is odd, since I don’t usually consider floral scents energizing! I think it’s because the smell was so bold. I personally will reserve this candle for times when I need to WAKE UP (like on a Monday morning, haha!), and I’ll move it to a larger room so the place doesn’t begin to take on a perfume-y quality after a while.⁣

   Rating: 4/5

I like this candle, though not enough to get it again. My personal preference would be for a little less floral, and a little more vanilla/coconut; however, if you’re all about the flower power, then this may be the candle for you!⁣
